If you do not answer the noise and urgency of your gifts, they will turn on you. Or drag you down with their immense sadness at being abandoned.

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium, and be lost. The world will not have it.

It is not your business to determine how good it is, nor how valuable, nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.

You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urge that motivates you.

Keep the channel open.

Martha Graham, To Agnes DeMille
In "Dance to the Piper"

Psychology, broken down, means the study of Psyche or Soul.

We are here for those who go off the beaten path. We work with creative types,

love and its absence, with erasure and wholeness; with what has been severed and undone.

We work with other healers; those with a strong spiritual path.

We are intrapsychic in nature; artists and philosophers, and welcome psychologically-minded

folks who want to do a deep-dive with their dreams, art, music, & using nature.

RELATIONAL COUNSELING

The I-Thou relationship is one of reciprocal, mutual recognition of being.

I see You as a whole being, on the same level as I.  You see I as a whole being, as well.

Joy was trained at the doctoral level to use a process of offering classical psychology "free associations" with Jungian active imagination (to integrate the subconscious with conscious material.)

Joy taught Casey the Jungian/ classical method, to offer

active dream work and a process of psychological integration in session, too.

Surprise us with the depths of the unknown.

The invisible is welcome here.
